Touch screens and VMware View - Will it work, and what hardware to use?

I have an initiative to use touch-screen based computers in our simulated patient training lab (medical university) for the patients to fill out a simple web-based evaluation of students after the mock visits.

We would like to find a touch screen based system that uses VMware view and a Thin Client, and I wanted to see if anyone has experience using touch screens with VMware View, and if there are any all-in-one units that include the thinclient in the touch screen.

I have also considered using a thick system such as the MSI Wind AE1900 all-in-one 18.5'' touch widescreen, then loading on a view agent. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Bill,

We use Wyse thin clients with elo touch screens, and they work just fine with View.

Chris,

what model of Wyse and Elo did you use? I also want to deploy View on the thin client with touch screen. Wyse should have XPe? What about

touch screen driver? Any advice would be appreciated.

I've tried it with an Shuttle X50 and it worked without problems.

Petros,

We use Wyse V90L terminals running XPe. We are using ELO 1715L touchscreens, running v4.6.3 of their driver. View runs great on them.
