Thinapp "appcrash" only on one client

Ok here's the scenario:

I have a Vmware View 5 floating pool of about 15 linked-clones.

We are using Persona Management to float the user's profiles.

I have deployed a Thinapp to this pool and it works great for all clients except one.

Every time this user runs the Thinapp she gets the following:

  Problem Event Name:                        APPCRASH

  Application Name:                             Peopletools HR.exe

  Application Version:                           7.55.0.0

  Application Timestamp:                     37333110

  Fault Module Name:                          StackHash_0a9e

  Fault Module Version:                        0.0.0.0

  Fault Module Timestamp:                  00000000

  Exception Code:                                  c0000005

  Exception Offset:                                01bd1f61

  OS Version:                                          6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4

  Locale ID:                                             1033

  Additional Information 1:                  0a9e

  Additional Information 2:                  0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

  Additional Information 3:                  0a9e

  Additional Information 4:                  0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

The weird thing is that i can log onto that same machine in the pool with my userid and the thinapp works fine.

This leads me to believe that something is corrupted or haywire in her profile.  Since we're using Persona Management then this problem replicates to whatever machine she logs into.

Again--it's only one of the 15 users--everything is working great for everyone else.

Anyone have any thoughts?  I feel like maybe there's something in her profile that i need to clear or delete, but i don't know where to start.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Have you tried deleting their C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Thinstall\<Application> folder? This should clear out anything specific to the user.

That did the trick!!! Thanks so much.

One other question--do you think i need to do it on each machine in hte floating pool?  Or will it have synchronized the changes from that one machine she was logged into and now work properly on any other machine she logs into?

Note:  we are roaming the "appdata" folder--so it gets synchronized to the repository.

Thanks

If that part is in the persona, I'd imagine it would synchronize. I don't have much experience with VMware's persona management.
