Our school district has 30 rolling laptop carts, each with 14 laptops. Teachers roll two carts in their classroom and students can use the laptops for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or internet research. We typically replace these laptops every 5 years.
I am putting in place this summer a View 5 deployment. What I would love to find is some type of thin or zero client laptop to take advantage of View. Ideally something along the lines of an ultrabook style machine that is lightweight, no optical drive, wireless a/b/g/n, and long batter life that is purpose built as a thin/zero client for View (PCOIP support).
Is there such a device?
It's not a zero client and I've never used it but I figured it was worth a shot.

Looks like a nice product but I think it only supports RDP and ICA but not PCOIP.
It runs XPe, this means it'll do PCoIP.

I wish they put that in their spec page and datasheet. I am hoping that thin/zero clients become more popular as more View and XenDesktop deployments are rolled out.
