Thin Client Limitation - security

in view 4: install,configure,manage student manual, vol 1, page 203, it says:

• Must connect directly to View Connection Server

• No security server connection

• Cannot use thin clients outside a DMZ

don't understand this, anybody can explain this?

what if the thin client is based on XPe or WinCE?
