I am a remote VMware user and have never had problems until yesterday, I have been using the log/link on etc for almost a year and now I get this message when trying to log in

The View Connection Server authentication failed. A secure connection to the server '(null)' cannot be established.

The client that I am trying to connect with says it is not on their end, but mine?

I am using windows 8 and am not computer literate.

should I uninstall and then re-install the VMware program?

Welcome to the forum. I think this has more to do from the server side then your side. Never the less you can check that SSL is not enabled in your view client. If it is enabled, try disabling it and check it again.
