The View Composer database has been re-initialized

We have recently installed View 5.1.1 (Connection, Composer) and are having an issue.  When we try to create a pool, we get the following error:

"The View Composer database has been re-initialized and is not synchronized with View data.  Please restore from your last backup.  For information on restoring a View Composer database, see the View Administration documentation."

The problem is, this is a new install and we have not taken any backups.  We haven't even been able to create a pool.  No amount of searching has yielded any solutions.  Perhaps someone has an answer?

Hello,

I have the same problem, fresh installation, new view, new vcenter, new composer.

Any help or suggestion would be really appreciated.

Turns out that our issue stemmed from reinstalling the view composer.  The View Composer server must be built before the View Connection server.  We reinstalled the Connection server software and now everything is okay.  Hope this helps someone else.
