Speak recognition from Keyboard not passing through to View VM anymore

Before the IOS update to iOS 6, we were able to click on the microphone on the ipad keyboard and have the ipad type what we were saying while in the VM through View. Since the update, it seems that we are no longer able to us this feature. The microphone on the keyboard will react but won't transfer the speech to text to the View's VM. Is anyone else experiencing this? And is this an issue with the View Client or on the iOS side?

Seems that the iOS 6 upgrade with the View Client 1.6 was the problem. Upgrading the client to 1.7 restored the speak recognition.
