Is there a way to automatically revert to a snapshot when a user logs off of a VDI session? I have a non-persistant pool that I don't want anyone to have personal information stored on for the next person that may log into it.
Thanks,
Travis
Hi
Yes there is. Three possible way's of the top of my head.
1) You can set it up to delete the VM on logout - prefered.
2) Set a policy to remove the cached user profile and setup strict rights to the file system so only the users profile is used - complex and time consuming to do.
3) Make the VM disk nonpersistant and shutdown on logout - this one has some issues the Machine NT account password must not be allowed to change.
What are these users using the VDIs for?
You can have VDM delete the VM when they are finished with it and deploy a fresh VM to the pool. Not sure if that would accomplish what you're trying to do ...

THANKS! #3 did exactly what I was looking for!
