Smartcard authentication. Users do not know their passwords.
When signing in to a VDI with smartcard, singlesignon works fine. After the VDI session / windows is automatically locked, the VDI / windows presents the password box for unlocking.
Since the users do not know their password, they have to choose "logon alternatives" and click on the smartcard icon, to get the PIN code box.
Seems to me that the "Last logon provider" for SSO is assumed to be username/ password because of how SSO handles the login.
We have tried manipulating registry to change default logon provider, and forcing smartcard authentication, but this does not work well together with SSO.
Is there any way to fix this ?
