We currently have users using instant clones to access an application. I decided to build a desktop pool and publish the application instead for a better user experience but when they log in and launch the app it takes around 30 seconds to open where as if they choose a desktop its around 5-10 seconds before they log in and can launch the app. Is there a reason or a way to make accessing the published application from the same desktop pool not so delayed? I have tried everything I can think of with optimizing the image and other things I have found online and nothing seems to help. Even increasing the CPU and RAM a significant amount doesnt seem to help. Sometimes it will open in 10-15 seconds and sometimes it is 30-40+ seconds all with the same image and desktop pool. Any help is appreciated.
