Slow hot key response in Excel on Vmware View 6.1 + Nvidia K1

Hey guys,

Has anyone seen this and been able to find a fix, some of our users experience a delayed response.. i.e. Slowness when they try to copy and paste special via hot keys.

the exact combo they are using is Ctrl + E + S + V enter.. it's supposed paste special by value.. the process works but it's laggy i.e. takes about 3 to 4 seconds to complete.. when it should be close to instant.

We have tried enable and disabling hardware acceleration in excel and it has not helped at all. our machines are very powerful.. 3 to 5 vCPU's, 16GB Ram, we also use Nvidia K1 Grid cards.

Is this occurring if you do the same operation natively inside the VM console using the vsphere client? I'm wondering if the delay is due to added latency with clipboard sharing to the client, rather than any local performance issue.

yes happens natively inside the vm console.. we are experiencing 0 latency.

our disk latency is .2 or less

Latency from 0 client to back-end is less then 1ms
