Was wondering if anyone has a solution to automatically adding a desktop to port group once it has been created?
I know if the master image is connected to a port group then every clone (linked or full) will be added to the port group of the master image but I want to keep one master image and ensure it is added to a port group based on a parameter or action completed by the administrator. I can script this by using PowerCLI and Get / Set -VirtualPortGroup but wondered if there was a way I could do this from either a customisation script or via a first run script.
Got an idea of what to do but can't quite formulate it. Any guidance or suggestions welcome.
