Session shadowing will not be in the View 4 release that is coming out soon. Source: Questioned this at last week's vmware virtualization forum and was confirmed not in the forthcoming release.

Does anyone have suggestions for perhaps a third-party ap that might work for session shadowing?

Inherent problem with RDP, not really a VMWare problem. I wonder if PCoIP also "locks" the primary screen?

PCoIP uses console 0, not 1 or 2 as RDP does, so all "traditional" shadowing tools should work like Remote Assistance (RDP), VNC etc.

Consider the PCoIP screen be equivalent to the physical screen when it comes to these kind of issues

Best regards,

We use VNC running inside the VM for this. We bought the enterprise version, so it integrates into Active Directory security groups and works very well. Has the advantage that it is irrelevant whether the user is physical or virtual, the way to connect to them is identical.
