Session Timeout - graceful logout with logoff script

I am running VIEW with the 4.0.1 client. Ontop of the VIEW desktop I am running an overlaying profile/desktop management software that is dependant on the underlaying VIEW desktop. The problem is if the user session reaches the session timeout then the VIEW desktop is shutdown without gracefully shutting down the overlaying software which corrupts their profile. It doesn't seem that a logoff script runs successfully when the connection manager initiates the shutdown. Has anyone been able to run logoff scripts via GPO when a session timeout is reached?

Have you configured a policy to shutdown the desktop within View Administrator?

No, I have not. We decided to set the Automatic Logoff to NEVER and use a scheduled task to take care of stagnant desktops. It was more of a 3rd party problem that our profile solution couldn't recognize the VIEW forced logoff as it did not shut down the EXE running the profile overlay.
