My question is similar to the following article, except the issue does not relate to a gap between the relative display co-ordinates.
Selective multi-monitor does not work when two monitors (with a gap) of four monitors are selected (59552) https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/59552
Contrary to the above article nvidia control panel does allow exact snapping of display co-ordinates to the primary monitor. The following example despite being snapped adjacently results in the error "Selective Multi-Monitor mode only applies to adjacent monitors":

Device: \\.\DISPLAY1 (5120 x 1440 x 32 bpp) 120Hz default up, attached, primary (0,0) | Device: \\.\DISPLAY2 (1680 x 1050 x 32 bpp) 59Hz default up, attached (3498,-1050) | Device: \\.\DISPLAY3 (2560 x 1440 x 32 bpp) 59Hz default up, attached (938,-1440) |
However in this configuration the Selective Multi monitor seems to work fine

Device: \\.\DISPLAY1 (5120 x 1440 x 32 bpp) 120Hz default up, attached, primary (0,0) | Device: \\.\DISPLAY2 (1680 x 1050 x 32 bpp) 59Hz default up, attached (2950,1440) | Device: \\.\DISPLAY3 (2560 x 1440 x 32 bpp) 59Hz default up, attached (951,-1440) |
Any ideas how I can remedy this ?
