Security Server with different domain

Hello,

i have a problem with my VMware View environment.

The connection server is installed and running fine. I tried to install a security server in a different domain, and get a error at the end of installation, that pcoip can't be configured.

Is it possible to do that?

Do you have any idea?

Thanks a lot

a) Security server doesn't have to be member of any domain.

b) if you are trying to still join it to Domain, normally we install security server in DMZ, your domain which you are joining should also be fully in DMZ for security reasons.

if you are meeting this, I think you should be Ok to go ahead with deployment.

Security server and connection server can be on different domains, their connection does not rely on ad authentication.

it is done over ipsec tunnel.

verify on the dashboard, the status of the security server, to verify they are connected,

if not fix it. if they are verify fw configuration and public url's are configured correct

Hello

Could you attach the installation logs from Security server that would be in the temp directory.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried it today with exactly the same configuration and environment - nothing changed.

This time, the installation passed - i don't know the reason.

Best regards
