The AV Best Practices document for VMware View (http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/VMware-View-AntiVirusDeployment-WP-en.pdf) page 8 desribes a workaround for preserving GUID before shutting down the virtual machine for non-persistent VMs. It involves a save_guid and restore_guid batch script. I was wondering if anyone could provide samples of such scripts to accomplish this?
