SSL and View 5.2

We're currently running 5.1 and I'm reading the upgrade guide for 5.2.  https://pubs.vmware.com/view-51/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/view-51-upgrades.pdf

I came across the SSL section of the guide (page 12 near the bottom) and discovered the "requirement" for CA signed SSL certs, but it says for 5.1.  I didn't do the upgrade to 5.1 but I'm confused now.  If the requirement started for 5.1, but my installation works fine, then this requirement must be for remote access only (which we do not/won't utilize)?  Clarification appreciated. :smileyconfused:

What do you have set up in your 5.1 environment? Internally issued certs or just self-signed? There's no real change here for 5.2 vs 5.1 (the big change was 5.0->5.1), so if things are working with 5.1 it'll likely be fine with 5.2 as well. All recent clients will complain if they try and connect to a server with an untrusted certificate - since you don't mention this I'm guessing you're using an internal CA.
