SQL server Down - VDI desktop impact

Hello Experts,

I would like to have the experts input on the impact of SQL server down which is hosting the Horizon Events DB, Composer DB and the Appvolumes DB. This is a standalone DB server.

Will there be an impact for connected VDI sessions ? I believe it should impact only the new user sessions, Please advise

Yes its only new users, the events database doesn't effect users, and the composer and appvolumes DBs effect the machines that are created or logged into, but not required for continual use. Also if your on recent versions and using instant clones, and not linked clones, the composer database is no longer needed.

Thanks for the prompt response , Just making sure that the composer and appvolumes DBs wont affect the already connected users ?

We are at 7.X version and using linked clone pools not the full clones.
