Resize Linked Clone Pool

Hi all!

We've made a pool to big and would now like to get rid of the unused, powered on windows xp vm's.

The pool has a size of 20 machines but only 6 are used so how can I archive this without disturbence of the 6 heavy used ones?

Is it that I just change the amount from 20 -> 6 in the pool properties and then delete those vm's in VMware View Admin which are not used?

I'm thankful for tips how to reduce pool size/member size.

I tried first with only deleting but because provisioning was enabled it deleted the VM's first and then rebuild them. So I changed provisioning to disable, changed the number of desktops to 6 and then deleted the 14 running VM's in VMware View and all is good. Thanks a lot.

Disabling is not needed. You just need to edit the provisioning and lower the number of desktops and then delete the ones you do not want to keep.

However, if it has worked that's fine.
