Removing old Connection & Security Servers

I am looking to decommission and remove the old servers, would it just require the following steps?

VMware KB: Removing a standard (replica) connection server or a security server from a cluster of co...

  • Uninstall
    • VMware View Connection Server (from connection server and security server)
    • ADAM Instance VMwareVDMDS (from connection server)
  • Command Line from new connection server
    • vdmadmin -S -r -s old_server_name

Would there be any steps necessary to take place on the new replica connection and security server?

Please advise

Tom

Yes you are fine to do that.  The system works as multimaster so once you have another server in there that will run the infrastructure with no problems
