Removing Hidden NW Card Results in Agent Unreachable

I have a Instant Clone VM that intermittently loses its Network Adapter ( VMXNET3 ).  The IC Pool is setup as dedicated and OS Disks are set to never refresh.  I found that there was a Hidden  Intel 82574 NW adapter that I removed from the config and rebooted the VM. Now the Agent has become unreachable from Connection server, but I can ping to and from VM to connection server. From the debug logs I noted the following Key change requests that fail. Any ideas ?

For Manual machine there is a solution - Remove VM from vCenter inventory and add back to VC and then add to manual pool.

For Instant clone, I would recommend to check if the hidden adapter is found under Master Image and then remove the master from VC inventory and add back and take new snapshot and push the image.
