Remember UserName in Horizon Client

Hello,
I have Laptop on which the horizon client v5.5.2 is installed. When I restart windows (10) the username is not remembered.
What can be changed so that the username is always remembered? Little guess, the user does not have local admin rights.

Check the client registry keys to see if the following key is set to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\dontdisplaylastusername

if it is set to 1 it means that it does not memorize the last username.
Set to 0 and check if the username is now stored

Thank you for your answer, but this one concerns Windows and not the Horizon client. 
Usually on all our machines the username remains memorized even after the station is rebooted. 
but there, on laptops which have been mastered, the username disappears when you restart the PC. 
I specify that it is at the level of the Horizon client login and not the Windows login.

Yes, the problem is clear to me, have you tried to make the change to the registry key I indicated to you?

I tried and if set to 1 the username in the  horizon client is not kept, if instead set to 0 it is kept
What value have you currently set in the indicated registry key?

I have checked the registry and the value is already at 0.

Ok, what version of Windows 10 where the Horizon client has the problem?

There is also a setting on the client:

Configure Horizon Client to Forget the Server User Name and Domain (vmware.com)

The registry overrides this setting I believe.

but the guide is for the MAC client, it escapes me .. there is the same option also for the horizon windows client? if yes, I never noticed 🙂

Sorry I didn't pay attention to see that was only for the Mac client.

There are some registry keys that let you force a username, I wonder if the value is blank, it will clear the username.

If you haven't tried already, I would see if the issue still persists on a new user profile on the client machine.
