Recomposed Virtual Machine stuck at PXE boot

Hi all,

When I recompose a VMware Horizon View 5.3 Pool with a new snapshot, all the existing virtual machines get stuck at PXE Boot, the new ones start correctly.

For work arround I've deleted the nvram from all the stuck vms, then they start to the OS ok. Is there any solution for this?

thanks in advance

Pedro

According to the KB below it looks like you are using the correct procedure to fix the issue.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes I Know, I've already noticed that kb, but if I have 1000 vms, that's a pain...

kind regards

Pedro

I agree with you 100%.   If you have 1000 VMs with a corrupt NVRAM then something else is horribly wrong, unless it's simply a bug that VMware hasn't disclosed.     Have you tried opening a ticket with their support to determine what is corrupting the NVRAM?
