Recompose with a Manual MAC Address

I have four linked clones VMs that have manually set MAK addresses for a piece of software. Using View 5.1.1, the Automatic assigned mac does not change during a recompose as promised in the new updates. But the ones on manual change back to automatic and are given new MACs. Is there anyway of keeping the manually set VM's set as manual.

They are Automated Pools, with Dedicated Assignment, linked clone, quickpreped. The only time they recompose or refresh is when I tell it too.
