Recompose Loses all ThinApped Apps

Is that a normal thing?  If I have thinapped applications deployed via View and recompose a VM, even though I am using the persistent disk for data, all the apps are missing until reinstalled via View.

Is this normal?

Are those applications part of the Master VM image?

Nope, but is this expected after, say an OS service pack?  All users are going to have to wait for View to reinstall the package?

I haven't utilized the ThinApp integration but definition a recompose takes the state of the clone to that of the snapshot of the master image that has been specified.  If the applications aren't part of the master image then in my opinion it would be expected that they were no longer available.

It almost makes linked clones pointless if using the thinapp integration.  Oh well, this is why I am testing...

We  use the login script to register our ThinApp applications.

Very cool!

BTW, is there a way to force the install of the package via View or is there some schedule it follows?
