Re-Compose

From the View Administrator, is there an easy way to tell when a Linked Clone pool was recomposed last?

Or what does VMWare reccomend?

What version of View are you running?  I know in 4.6 (may have been present in 4.5 too)  If you switch to the View composer details view you have a last compose date available to you.

4.5 , how do I switch the details view?

If you click on the pool and go to inventory there should be an option for Desktops View Composer details.

I don’t see that option under my inventory

Pool Inventory - Select pool - Click On Inventory TAB -

Now click on the Sub TAB Named "Desktiops (View Composer Details)" ---> here you can see last recompose column.
