RDP session timeout on Wyse V10L

I have an issue with Wyse V10L thin clients (WNOS 6.4) on View 3.0.1 with Windows XP VM. My user has an application to monitor video cameras on his VM and wants no screensaver, so I disabled Windows screensaver and also Wyse screensaver in wnos.ini.

The problem I'm facing now is that the VM RDP session auto-disconnects every 150 minutes if there is no keyboard or mouse input. I found this issue described in KB article 1007856. It basically says that the disconnection is caused by the Wyse inactivity timeout set at 150 minutes. I also have a VMware VDM event id 103 in Windows eventlog "Session DISCONNECTED, id=0, user ..." with no mention of the cause of the disconnection.

I tried the workaround mentionned in this KB (ConnectionBroker=VDM), Inactive=0 or Reconnect=yes parameters (found in WNOS admin guide) with no luck. I also tried playing with Terminal Services session GPO parameters without any change.

Any ideas please ?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Hello, do you upgrade the Wyse OS to the last IOS?, what is your OS version?

Hello,

Thank you for your answer and sorry for my late reply, I was out of office and had to make new tests... I was trying with OS version 6.4.0_12 which is in production. I tried again with version 6.5.0_30 and the Inactive=0 parameter is now working as expected.

Now the session timeout limit defined in View Administrator apply. Do you know if there's a way to override this parameter for only one VM or pool ? If it is not possible I can live with it...

Best regards.
