So here is an issue I have noticed in my VMware View environment and wanted to get some feedback, suggestions on:
If one of my users make a connection to a VDI via RDP and do not logoff (just disconnect), the RDP session remains open. If they subsequently attempt to make a PCoIP connection to this same desktop, the two protocols seem to conflict with each other causing the PCoIP session to display a black screen for 10-30 seconds and then disconnect. Further RDP sessions seem to continue to function.
The only way to clear this issue is to reboot the desktop (VDI) and attempt a new connection via PCoIP only.
I have ensureed my users run the client version that matches my Connection server and have made sure the agent matches as well.
I run Windows 7 32bit and 64bit VDIs and run the 5.0.1 Client\Agent\Connection Server.
