Quickprep independent of View

Is quickprep a tool that can be used independently of View to prepare linked clones?

Quickprep is part of View composer so I don't think you can utilize it without VMware View.

As my friend say, it's part of linked clone imply, you have two option to deploy linked clone

To use sysprerp that come built in with windows 7 and vista

Or to use quick perp that come with view

My strong recommendation is to use quick prep

Thanks for both of your comments. I'll have to stick to sysprep as I won't be using View.

You can still utilize sysprep with VMware View linked clones and full desktops.   You just have to make sure you select that option when creating the pool.
