Quickbooks in a Linked Clone Environment?

Has anyone successfully deployed Quickbooks in a Linked Clone environment?

My concerns are around licensing and registration upon recomposing the VMs.

Then in that case a it should not affect the linked clones. as the license is in the replica and has not been changed.  Remember the linked Clones only contains those files that have changed on an individual basis,

that said,  test it.

Yes, it was unsuccessful. Many of the icons within the program would not display.  VMware support said that it would be fixed on the next release of ThinApp.

where is the license kept, is it per user, ie applied post clone on first access by the user or pre clone during Gold master creation?

The license and registration data is kept in C:\ProgramData\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks

I believe it would be applied pre clone, but I am not sure.

We have used both Quickbooks 2010 and Quickbooks 2012 on linked clones without any issues. On the base image we reigistered the software and everything just worked.
