Linux is not yet a supported operating system. We have looked into using our Sun Rays to access a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES10) running Sun Ray Software (SRSS 5) and it looks like it should work. That will give you the Linux operating system you probably want, but I think you would need Sun Ray thin clients to do it.
There is an open source client located here that you may be able to work.
