Protocol error

Hello All,

After recomposing of a pool, all machines are with the same fail...Protocol error. Nobody can connect but after the restart of the machines, everything is OK. I found it on my test enviroment, but I can't imagine restarting all machines in the real environment. Can you help me with this fail?

As a protocol we are using Blast.

No internal FW.

Horizon 7.1, agent 7.5

Thanks!

A Protocol failure means that one of the display protocols (PCoIP or Blast, I don't believe it checks RDP) is not working. This typically means one of the Horizon Agent processes (VMBlastS.exe, pcoip_server_win32.exe, etc..) failed to initialize or communicate with the connection server. We often see this if AV is blocking the process. However, if you are using Horizon Agent 7.5 then you should also be running Horizon Connection Servers 7.5. It's only supported to have a newer connection server but not the horizon agent and this could be part of your problem since it's an unsupported configuration.
