Profile does not appear

I have vmware view persistent desktop no link clone

when I logon and look under documents and settings the user profile is not there

Where is it?

If you aren't using linked clones than you could not be using user data disk. Are you logged in with a temporary profile or something? Is your company using some type of profile management software?
