Problems with Microsoft ActiveSync and Wyse P20 (PCOIP)

Hey

we have a problem with the activesync connection between the view installation and the wyse P20.

when we connect a windows mobile device to a P20 the virtual OS recognizes the divices and install it correctly

Unfortunately the link does not work (activesync say no connection)

According to microsoft KB activesync can not communicate with the port 990 with the devices.

When we connect the windows mobile device with a normal computer and vmware view client the connection work without problems.

someone knows this problem?

greeting

Simon

Hello

thank you for your answer.

When I select the RDP protocol on the Wyse P20 all USB devices not working.

the vm recognizes nothing, no popup nothing

how can I activate USB with RDP on a P20? In VMware View Manager or in the config on the P20?

Are you using View 4.0.1?

It has a few USB issues resolved over 4.0.

It does not work - we have tried on 6 P20's, not any of them will sync.

We have since moved to HP 5740t's and have had no issues with them - not a zero client, but at least they work.

We have had no end of issues with P20's including broadcast storming our WAN links to the point of making them unusable.

We have been working with Teradici on these issues and they have been awesome - even went as far to setup a conference call to try and troubleshoot further.

It's a shame really, because Wyse and Dell talked a great talk, but they failed to walk the walk.

Cheers!
