Problem with thinprint and fonts

Hi,

since we upgraded from View 5.0 to 5.2 we have a printing problem with our remote workers.

The printers are presented as expected and printing as it is works. The problem is that it does not use our CI font but Arial.

Do we have to install the font on the client now as well or is this a bug?

Cherzyk,

Did you ever find out anything on this? I have users using word and every font is changed while printing.

Hi,

we "solved" it by installing the fonts on the client PC. Bad thing is, that was not needed before and it is not always possible. And one of the uses was zp be able to print on PCs uncontrolled by our internal IT.

After working on it yesterday I found a solution as well. On the virtual I changed the driver for the printer from TP Output Gateway to a driver for the actual printer i.e. hp laserjet 1320. I'm not sure if that would solve your problem but it seems to be working well in my environment.
