Problem for Activate Windows 7 via KMS Server

Hi all,

I have a problem when i deploy Windows 7 Desktop via VMWARE View.

I have a KMS Server in my enterprise and when i deploy Windows 7 Desktop via VMWARE View, evertytime i need make an slmgr /ato for active Windows 7 Licence.

On master image, i modify this keys like that:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\vmware-viewcomposer-ga

AllowActivateMAKLicense = 0

SkipLicenseActivation = 1

How i can automatically activate Windows 7 on first boot without enter slmgr /ato comand ?

You might want to make sure your using an Enterprise version of Windows 7 on your master image.

We also have a KMS server and i have never had to enter that command.  They automatically find the KMS server and activate withing a few minutes.

Another weird thing that MS has with KMS is that you will need to have 25 machines to request activation before activation actully start, they do not however recoginze virtual machines as valid activations.

To activate window 7 you need to specify the below steps

1. First you need to configure the KMS Window 7 Licence key in KMS Server

2. KMS client Key need to be install on the Golden Image which point out your KMS Server

3.Activate the  KMS Server

When you deploy the image from Window 7 then automatically linked clones will activate its window. ALso you need to wait for 25 Window 7 desktops to activate
