How to map the printer mapping to the end User printers?

Is there a universal printer driver for VDI?

Are you trying to map their local printers or network printers?

RDP maps the drivers through a virtual channel in the protocol. You need to install the printer drivers on the client as well as the virtual desktop. Universal driver see the link on top.

Yeah, you need to the load printer on the client and your VDI session. We have some users who connect in from home using their home PC's and the hardest part was talking them through loading their home printer (20 users, 20 different home printers) on the VDI session that's sitting in out data center. We had to call a few of them find out the make/model of their home printer, dload the driver, log into their session, and laod the drivers for them. We also had to make sure and document this so if we had to blow away their VDI session and recreate from our golden image we could load back their home printer. Going forward with VCB/Ranger I'll have a snap shot of thier session I can just revert to. Makes things alot easier....
