Post Synchronization Script Issues

Hello All,

We are using a post synchronization script to install MSMQ Windows feature on VMs. We have created a batch file for this and the batch file contains DISM commands to install the feature. This was working perfect in linked clones but as we are moving towards Horizon 8 and need to use Instant Clones. We found from the logs that the script is running successfully but the feature is not getting installed. We doubt that it is related to permission. Is there any way to run the post synchronization script as administrator ?

You could try to assign a computer GPO to the desktops and create a scheduled task to run at computer startup. I think that's the only way that you can specify which user must run the script.

You could also add the scheduled task on your master image, but then you might have to add some additional checks in your script so it doesn't run each time you start the master image.
