PnPDriverNotFound Android smartphone

Greetings,

When I try to connect my Android smartphone (Sony Xperia Go) to my VMware View in MTP (Media Transfer Mode) I got the following event in my event log (between brackets the translation of the dutch words):

When connecting in MSC (Mass Storage Mode) I can see the external storage of the Android phone (SD).

I've installed the Sony PC Companion manually which should have the drivers and went to device manager to try to install these, but no drivers were found.

When connecting the phone to a regular Windows 7 64-bit PC the phone installs without problems.

Does anybody have experience with this issue or could help me?

Thanks in advance,

Bram

What version of View are you running? In 5.1 there was a lot of improvement in the USB-functionality.

We're using View 5.1, even agent 5.1.2. 😕

The problems happens when using software pcoip client and zero client.

What OS is in the Virtual Desktop?

Could you test in VMware Workstation with the same guest OS?

It’s a Windows 7 64-bit. I’ll try to check with VMware Workstation later today and post the results here.
