Physical NICs drop connections during provisioning of linked clones

FYI

I have two redundant  nic's in HP BL460 blades (NC553i and NC552M 10Gbps adapters).  During the provisioning of linked clones, the hosts that the VM is being built on loses link for less than 1 second and generates errors in the host log: "Physical NIC vmnic1 is down" + "Physical NIC vmnic2 is down."  Those are the physical uplinks I use for my dvSwitch that the VM's ride on.

I am researching driver issues now.

This is vSphere 4.1u2 with View 4.6.  There are no link loss issues other than during provisioning.

I think this is a host-specific (or driver) issue -- because ALL hosts in the cluster don't lose link when ONE host has a new VM provisioned to it.  If this were a switch-side issue ALL hosts would lose link at the same time.

I am not getting much detail from Tasks & Events on the host.  Today I will check to see if there is a host CPU spike at the exact instant that the links go down.  Also, I need to check to see if the links go down at the exact instant that a new port is created on the dvSwitch (for the new VM).
