We are having a weird issue. Here is our Horizon View environment
Client: Window 10 1803 and Windows 7
View Agent: 7.0.2 & 7.5.1 & 7.7
GPO: Latest GPO files distributed with 7.7 but also ones released with 7.0.2
We are having issues with persona not offloading and saving to the network properly. We found that the appdata\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps folder was causing person to crash. So using the GPO "Files and Folders excluded from roaming" we have added that path in to be excluded. The issue is that that as soon as we enable that policy, it automatically adds lots of other exclusion folders.
Most of these are not a problem, except for the Appdata\Local\VMWare folder that contains the Published Applciation cache and file association data.
Since that doesnt roam, the file assocaitions for published appications like Project and Visio dont work.
If we dont configure the Appdata\Local\VMWare exclusion, then the extra fodlers are not added, but then the users Person wont work.
Any suggestions to help us please?
We are a getting a little desperate.
Thanks H3nky. Is this documented somewhere, because we raise a support ticket and the technician did not tell us this even though we asked. He told us that we had set those in a different GPO.
