Should users be able to mapped their own drives using floating desktops pools with UIA Writable volumes and folder redirection? Mapped drives (unless using the UEM configuration) are not persistent.
Thx
User mapped drives to active directory authenticated shares ARE persistent on our system.
We are running non-persistant View 7 instant-clones, AppVol 2.12 UIA_plus_template writable volumes and use UEM to map common drives, printers, etc.
I'm doing the same thing with the UEM and AD mapped drives. We are also using UIA template writable volumes with Folder Redirection but if i manually map a drive and then log off, the mapped drive is gone when i log back in. We have many users with many different mapped drives and I need to allow them to map their own drives over and beyond the core drives mapped by AD and UEM.
Thx
