I usually use Horizon 7(Linked Clone), but I am verifying Horizon 8(Instance Clone).
I'm creating a desktop pool after setting up Connecction Server,
but I don't see the parent machine in the vCenter parent machine screen.
No error is displayed.
The connection from the Connection Server to vCenter was set up,
and the domain account for the instance clone was also set up.
The versions of ESX and vCenter are as follows.
ESX 6.5.0
vCenter 6.5.0(build 6816762)
Do I need to make other settings?
Will the error be displayed somewhere?
please tell me.
Doesn't it show up even with "Show all parent VMs" being checked?
See Step 14 at https://www.carlstalhood.com/vmware-horizon-8-virtual-desktop-pools/

Depending on the size, and configuration of the pool, there Horizon may not use a parent.
See e.g. "Smart Provisioning" at What’s New in VMware Horizon 8 2006, CART, App Volumes, and Dynamic Environment Manager | VMware

Thank you very much.
However, the pool cannot be created unless the parent virtual machine, Snapshot, virtual machine location, etc. are defined.
What should I do?
Please help me.

Do you see any machines or none at all, you should at least see some machines. If its see some, make sure your snapshot for the parent was taken while its off, if its on you won't see it.
Thank you very much.
I was able to display it.
We will continue to verify.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
I have the same problem. May you please help me solve the issue?
