PCoIP launching with low resolution

All,

We are running into a problem where the users log in to their desktop, most of them (but not all of them) get a low resolution (somewhere on the order of 1024x768), while the monitor is a 24 inch 1900x1200.  We configured the setup to allow the users to manually change their resolution, and this works fine.  Ocasionally the resolution will revert to the low resolution again when it has been idle for some time (they go out to lunch and come back to unlock it).  The PCoIP device is going through a KVM into the monitor.  The PCoIP device always displays at the correct 1900x1200 resolution (at the Teradici splash screen), the low resoution occurs after View launches the desktop.  Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix it?  Below is a more detailed explaination of our setup:

We are running vSphere 5.0, View 5.0, Windows 7 64bit Enterprise, EVGA PD02 Zero Client with Teradici firmware 3.51, single 24 inch monitor going through an IOGEAR GCS2201 KVM.  The OS was installed with VMware tools, then the View 5.0 agent.  The pool is running PCoIP as the default display protocol and the users cannot change it, Windws 7 3D rendering is enabled and the memory is maxed out at 128 MB.

Any ideas?

What's the hardware version of your VM?  8?

Yes, HW version 8.  It seems to be a KVM problem.  Plugging the DVI from the monitor directley into the zero client elimnates the problem.  I'm still not convinced it's not a problem with the zero client itself either because the PCoIP login screen is always at the correct resolution through the KVM.
