I have a View 5.1 envirouemnt using Wyse Tera clients. I thought I remembered reading that the Connection Server only brokers the connection from client to VM, and PCoIP traffic after the connection used a direct session between the VM and client.
However, after looking at NetFlow reports it is clear that all of our traffic is hitting the Connection Server. I am worried that this will not scale well. Is there something setup wrong in our environment or was my initial understanding wrong?
In the View admin console go to View Configuration, servers, connection brokers, and edit the connection broker. I would be careful and read up on the settings before changing anything so that you understand the impact it can have both ways.
If your connection broker is setup to proxy the traffic it will flow through the connection broker except when a zero client is used as they are direction connect.
That sounds like what is going on. Where do I find that setting?

Thank you, would that also explain why all of our sessions show up as remote sessions, even when they are inside the firewall?
I think that is normal and everything should be listed there except machines checked out using local mode.
