PCoIP Connectivity through Security Server (2k8r2) w/ Backend Connection broker (2k3)

I am having some problems getting PCoIP to work through a front end 2008 R2 security server and a backend 2003R2 conection broker. Has anyone gotten this to work yet? When I try to connect over PCoIP externally I recieve a black screen on the VM and then the connection fails reporting "the connection to the remote computer ended".

I configured my firewall for the additional ports and I am stuck....has anyone gotten this to work with 2k8r2 front end and 2003 r2 backend?

Thanks!

Make sure you check the box for  "Use PCoIP Secure Gateway for PCoIP connections to desktop" under the Connection Server's Edit screen. I missed this one for a few minutes and it had me confused.

With View 4.6 2k8r2 SS with 2k3 CS works for PCoIP gateway support.Check that all 3 setup steps have been done. If any of these haven't been done or if PCoIP is blocked by any network device, you'll just get a black screen.

See http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-14974

There may be other reasons too. Post again to let us know how you get on.

Yes - that was step 1 of the 3 step process you missed. If you miss any of the 3 it won't work.

Glad it's working for you now.

Mark.
