also, used google/bing.
I still do not have the settings tab for display settings. I've tried using the GPO setting "Toggle Display Settings Control" disabled and enabled. This doesn't work. Also, tried pushing via the registry, still can't get it.
Is there anything else?
Are you sure the GPO have propagated? I think the default is 90min for GPO:s...

I made a special GPO for one computer/user and put the setting there.
Then, I ran gpupdate /force /boot, to force the gpo to get pushed to the computer.
Then I referenced gpresult to make sure the gpo was pushed to the computer successfully.
So, even at this point I should still wait 90 mins?
Well, all of the above was done yesterday. So, I tried again just now, and still do not have the tab.
Though, perhaps I have something else wrong. Here is what I have in the registry that I manually added.
Under HKLM\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\Agent\Configuration
ToggleDisplaySettingsControl REG_SZ 1
Note, I've also tried 0.
So, perhaps I have something incorrect here?
In addition, I just finished this: http://www.thatsmyview.net/2009/12/18/how-to-get-pcoip-with-view-4-to-work-every-time/ and this also doesn't help.
Well, I've decided to do a workaround for now. I'm pushing the registry key that allows me to change the screen resolution. But, now after a log off, and log back on, the screen goes back to the native resolution. A possible fix for my issue may be the following.
So, is there a way to script out :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{guid}\0000\DefaultSettings.XResolution
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{guid}"\0000\DefaultSettings.YResolution[/code]
I just need to know how to set .
