I am helping a friend and the company she works using software developed in their own company to set up. She is an engineer working with development and industrial automation. Setup refers to a DCS. Relative of the PLC.
As she works with many clients and rarely are they using the same version of the program output is to use a virtual machine for each client.
Her problem is recent: the program they use has been translated into Portuguese, so the windows installed on the host machine is also in Portuguese. As this version is not approved they still failed to do the tests with the simulator that recognizes onlythe English, Japanese, Russian and German.
Installed on a VMWare machine with Windows in Portuguese to use the simulator, but it seems that VMware does not recognize the hardware of the host, need to usethree network cards, second on the physical machine it is only put a hold on a cardhe acknowledges, connect the virtual machine when any of the cables he identifies the three points of the net!

They did a test with a host machine with windows installed in English and the same virtual machine and it worked!
Now the question: VMWare does not work with machines that use the host in Portuguese?
