New to View - Basic instalation and configuration

Hello All. We have been working on consolidating our servers to an ESX host, and now would like to test the VMview environment. Can anyone lead us to some documentation or resources that would be appropriate for a newbie? As in initial installations and configurations. Thanks,

You can start from the official material:

http://www.vmware.com/pdf/view31_quickstart.pdf

http://www.vmware.com/pdf/view31_manual.pdf

But View has several background requirement, so could be useful to follow a course.

If you have some spare PSO there are some official course:

http://mylearn.vmware.com/portals/www/search/results.cfm?ui=www&category=catalog&searchtype=advanced...

If you have access to Partner Portal there is some (free) material to View (follow the VTSP path for Desktop Virtualization).

Thanks for your help. I have the basic material. Unfortunaltey not a partner. So no access to that portal. I will look into the online classes and go from there.

The 1 day course (VMware View Essentials Workshop) is very well done and useful to start to deploy your lab.
